Eid
On Monday and Tuesday (7th and 8th November) we had the day off of school because of Eid. On Wednesday we had a non-uniform day and we had a : fashion show, party, special dinner and an Eid assembly. At the parties we had sweets and samosas. At the fashion show we got given gifts (money,) and we listened to bollywood music. When we had the special dinner we had curry, rice, chappati, pakoras and onion bhajis. For pudding we could have either jelly or chocolate cake. When we had the Eid assembly we had a story of the prophet Abraham told by muslims faith group.
(Here are some pictures of the fashion show so you can see that we all look beautiful.)

How typical that I wasn’t in school on Wednesday to enjoy all that lovely food and see you all in your special clothes. I’m glad that you all had such an exciting time.

I enjoyed the fashion show but I felt a bit shy and when I was sat on the floor I thought I can walk on that catwalk by myself .Then when it came to my turn on the fashion show I felt shy and I thought in my mind I cant do this.So I just quickly
got on the catwalk and ran down the stage and sat down.
